Thea was our last rat for now.
She was a Blue Berkshire double Rex (Part bald and part haired).
Thea gave us a lot of love and happiness in her 3 and a half years. she waited on her blue shelf every day, for her banana chip or some of our cooked food.
I intend to get more girls once this lockdown has ended. Not to replace the sweethearts I have had, but we miss their company.
There is a bad press over rats, but I can tell you, they are beautiful clean creatures. I have never been bitten by any of my girls/boys. You can even put your hand into their bed to pet them. Never try that with a hamster, as you will get a nasty bite!
